Far from being a “dead” time, the season between pastors can and should be productive. In fact, what happens “in between” pastors often sets the tone for a church’s future. We want to offer maximum assistance in this all-important season.

More often than not, several of those enlisted to serve on the Pastor Search Team have never experienced the process. Because of this, (and because of the importance of the task), training is invaluable. CBA offers both initial orientation/training, and follow-up support (as requested) free of charge. Or, if preferred, we will be glad to recommend a qualified trainer from another source. 

In some cases, a more intensive type of interim is helpful. This is especially true when a congregation has been deeply hurt by the former pastor’s actions… or after the resignation/retirement of a much-loved & long-tenured pastor.
